AIRTECHZ / Industrial standing fans
Industrial
Pedestal Fan
Industrial pedestal fans for local cooling and air circulation in factories, warehouses and commercial spaces. Compare 20–30 inch FA-series models and choose the motor, base and controls for your application.

01 / Product overview
What is an industrial pedestal fan?
An industrial pedestal fan, also called an industrial stand fan or standing fan, is a freestanding fan with an elevated head for local cooling and air circulation.
Industrial pedestal fans provide directed air movement for local cooling and circulation in warehouses, factories, commercial premises and public spaces. An adjustable column lets you position the fan head at a suitable height, while available tilt and oscillation arrangements help distribute airflow.
Choose the fan size, blade design and control arrangement together. A stand fan moves air within the space; where fresh-air exchange is required, plan building ventilation with suitable exhaust fans as well.

02 / Size selection
Four standard sizes.
More ways to fit your space.
20, 24, 26 and 30 inch fans are available as standard sizes. Nominal metric sizes are 500, 600, 650 and 750 mm. 34- and 36-inch configurations can be requested for other applications.

04 / Construction details
Specify the components
that matter in daily use.
Motor, impeller, guard and support structure should be selected as one assembly. The configurations shown illustrate available construction details; confirm the specification of the model in your quotation.

Copper-wound motor
Copper windings work with a matched rotor and capacitor in the AC configuration. AC and BLDC motor options can be selected for different operating and control requirements.

Rotor & shaft assembly
A correctly matched rotor and shaft support the rotating assembly. Motor power and speed must suit the selected blade design.

Matched capacitor
The capacitor is selected to match the AC motor. Confirm the motor and capacitor specification for the intended electrical supply.

Magnesium-aluminum blades
Die-cast magnesium-aluminum alloy blades are lightweight, rigid and corrosion-resistant. Material and blade geometry are selected for the model.

Oscillation & head support
Plastic or aluminum-alloy gearbox options and synchronous-motor arrangements can be requested. Confirm oscillation operation, support construction and service access.

Adjustable or fixed column
Height-adjustable and fixed-height rods are available. A secure locking arrangement keeps the fan head at the intended working height.
A stable foundation
The base needs adequate mass, a robust structure and a suitable footprint to support the fan during normal operation. Base selection should account for the fan head, height, operating speed and floor condition.
Round, cross, tripod and wheeled bases are available in compatible configurations. Material, base weight and stability should be confirmed with the complete fan assembly.

05 / Motor protection
How does motor thermal protection work?
An internal temperature sensor can interrupt the motor supply when overheating occurs. A nominal 130°C cut-off option is available; the exact trip temperature and reset behavior must be confirmed for the selected motor.

Temperature sensing inside the motor
- Monitor: the sensor responds to the temperature of the motor winding.
- Interrupt: the protector opens the circuit if its trip temperature is reached.
- Reset: on automatic-reset versions, operation can resume after cooling to the reset temperature.
Automatic-reset motors may restart after cooling. Disconnect power before inspection or maintenance, and investigate repeated thermal trips rather than repeatedly restarting the fan.
06 / Configuration & customization
Build a specification
around your application.
Choose the configuration before confirming model performance. The options shown are examples across the range and are not all included with every standard FA-series model.
Base and installation options

Cross base
A wide footprint with a straightforward freestanding arrangement. Confirm base dimensions and total assembly stability.

Round base
Round-base configurations are available in compatible models. Specify the material, base weight and finish.

Tripod base
A tripod support can suit installation and storage requirements. Confirm locking and folding arrangements.

Mobile base
Wheeled-base options support movement between working areas. Confirm wheel locks, floor suitability and the final base specification.
Controls and motor options

Mechanical speed control
A mechanical speed switch provides a familiar operating arrangement. The illustrated configuration has three speed levels.

Remote-control option
Wireless remote control can be requested with a compatible motor and control system. Functions depend on the selected controller.

Stepless speed control
Compatible BLDC / permanent-magnet configurations can offer stepless speed adjustment. Confirm the controller, speed range and motor together.
Blade designs

Two-blade design
An example of an alternative blade and head configuration. Confirm performance for the selected assembly.

Three-blade design
Blade profile, material and operating speed work together to determine airflow and sound level.

Other blade configurations
Four-blade examples are shown here; five-blade and other blade-profile options can be requested.

08 / Selection questions
Before you choose a model.
Answers to common questions about the fan range and configuration options.
What sizes of industrial pedestal fan are available?
Standard sizes are 20, 24, 26 and 30 inches, with nominal metric sizes of 500, 600, 650 and 750 mm. 34- and 36-inch options can be requested. Confirm the overall dimensions for the quoted model.
How much airflow do the FA-series fans deliver?
At 220 V / 50 Hz, listed airflow is 150 m³/min for FA-500, 195 m³/min for FA-600, 205 m³/min for FA-650 and 290 m³/min for FA-750. Confirm test conditions and the performance of any customized configuration.
Can I choose an AC or BLDC motor?
Yes. Regular AC and high-efficiency BLDC motor configurations can be requested. The FA-series specification table applies to the listed standard models; request separate performance data for a customized motor.
Is the height adjustable?
Height-adjustable and fixed-height columns are available. Confirm the adjustment range, head tilt and oscillation arrangement for the selected model.
How does the motor overheat protector work?
The thermal protector interrupts the motor supply when its trip temperature is reached. Automatic-reset versions may resume operation after cooling. Read the thermal-protection section above and confirm the trip temperature and reset type for the motor.
Which base should I choose?
Choose a compatible cross, round, tripod or wheeled base according to the fan head, working height, floor condition and moving requirements. The complete assembly needs an appropriate footprint and stability.
Can the voltage, color, plug and packaging be customized?
Yes, compatible voltage and frequency options, custom colors, plug types, cable lengths and carton designs can be requested. Send the destination market and your detailed requirements.
Does a pedestal fan replace building ventilation?
A pedestal fan primarily moves air within the space for local cooling and circulation. If you need to remove heat, moisture or stale air, plan an appropriate fresh-air and industrial exhaust system as well.
