Shutter design

The louvers open when the fan starts operating. This version is suitable where a shuttered outlet is preferred. The shutter assembly adds depth and weight; use the S-model packing figures when planning your order.

Front-and-rear grille design

Wire guards surround the propeller area. The compact square panel provides mounting points around the perimeter, while the rear guard supports the motor assembly.

White is the standard product colour. The shutter helps limit wind and rain entry, but an IP rating or weatherproof installation specification has not been provided. Confirm the installation conditions before ordering.

Ball-bearing motor

A rolling-bearing motor is used for smooth operation and long service life. Rated sound levels vary by size, from 46 to 70 dB(A).

Axial propeller

The blade profile is CAD optimised for stable airflow. Select the model by its stated airflow and power rather than blade diameter alone.

Square mounting panel

A compact, robust housing with perimeter fixing points makes wall mounting straightforward. Confirm the opening and fixing positions before fabrication.

Commercial applications

Local air extraction for everyday spaces

The FA10 series is intended for ventilation in stores, restaurants, cafés, garages and similar commercial or domestic spaces.

Stores and cafés: remove stale air where a suitable replacement-air route is available.
Restaurants: general room ventilation. Confirm suitability separately for cooking grease or high-temperature exhaust.
Garages: general air exchange. Tell us if the air contains fumes, flammable vapours or corrosive contaminants.

For selection, send the room dimensions, use of the space, required airflow, wall opening size and whether the fan discharges directly outdoors or through a duct.

Which sizes are available?

Nominal sizes are 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 inches, corresponding to 200, 250, 300, 350, 400 and 450 mm.

Does the shutter open automatically?

Yes. The shutter design is described as opening when the exhaust fan starts operating. Choose an S-suffix model for this configuration.

Can I use this fan with a long duct?

The available data does not include a fan pressure curve. Send the duct length, diameter, bends and outlet details so the required duty can be checked before ordering.

Is the fan available in other voltages?
