Configuration
Material and mounting base options
Choose the housing and base combination to suit the project and budget. The housing thickness range is 0.3–0.5 mm; other thicknesses can be made to order.
- All 304 stainless steel: both the turbine housing and mounting base are made from grade 304 stainless steel.
- 304 stainless steel housing with colour-coated steel base: a stainless steel turbine combined with a colour-coated steel mounting base.
- 201 stainless steel housing: an economical housing option. Confirm the base material with your quotation.
- Aluminium alloy: available as an alternative material; confirm the required configuration when ordering.

Standard and custom orders
Standard stainless steel products have a minimum order quantity of 30 units. Custom materials or thicknesses require 50 units per size.
A white finish is available with a minimum order of 50 units. Please specify the material, base and finish together so we can confirm the complete configuration.

Dimensions
Available sizes: 6 to 36 inches
Select by the duct opening, overall turbine diameter and height. The size labels below are nominal inch sizes; use the millimetre dimensions for the roof opening and clearance.

Performance
Airflow at different natural wind speeds
The table compares 12–36 inch turbines under five ambient wind speed conditions. It is not a fixed airflow rating independent of weather.

Air volume data refer to ambient natural wind speed conditions. Actual performance may vary with altitude, humidity and other site conditions. Air volume figures for the 6-inch and 8-inch sizes are not available in this table; contact us for selection assistance.
Product details
Bearings, internal supports and metal housing

Ball bearing
The ball bearing is designed for long-term operation and smooth turbine rotation with low operating noise.

Reinforced internal brackets
Reinforced brackets support the rotating assembly for long-term outdoor use.

Stainless steel or aluminium
Metal housing options provide corrosion resistance for outdoor installation. Specify the material grade and thickness when ordering.
Shipping options
Assembled or disassembled packing

Disassembled / SKD
Disassembled packing uses shipping space more efficiently and helps protect components from crushing or bending in transit. This is a practical option for freight-sensitive orders; the product must be assembled before installation.

Assembled product
The turbine arrives assembled, ready for roof installation. It occupies more shipping space and suits end users or routes where the transport distance and freight cost are manageable.
Packing dimensions and shipping volume depend on the size and packing method. Tell us the quantity, destination and preferred packing so we can confirm freight details.
Roof installations
Warehouses, barns, factories and garages
Roof turbine ventilators provide wind-driven extraction without electrical wiring. The installation layout should account for local wind exposure, the building volume, roof construction and fresh-air inlet openings.

Roof turbine ventilator questions
Does the ventilator need electricity?
No. The turbine is driven by natural wind and has no electric motor, so its electrical power consumption is 0 W.
Will it provide the same airflow in all weather?
No. Airflow depends on natural wind and site conditions. Compare the wind speed columns above when assessing the available sizes. A value at 6 km/h is a table condition, not a specified starting wind speed.
Which sizes are available?
The nominal sizes are 6, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 27, 32 and 36 inches. Corresponding duct openings range from 160 to 900 mm. See the dimension table for each size.
Can I order a different material, thickness or finish?
Yes. Options include 304 stainless steel, 201 stainless steel housing, aluminium alloy, and a colour-coated steel mounting base. Housing thickness is 0.3–0.5 mm, with other thicknesses available to order. Custom materials or thicknesses require 50 units per size; white finish orders require 50 units.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum is 30 units for standard stainless steel products. Custom material or thickness orders require 50 units per size. Specify assembled or disassembled packing with your enquiry.
